“The Ladies of Leisure” started as a joke from our dear friend Mr. Don, age 86, watching us load horses and pull out for another girls-only riding trip.
Boots dusty.
Trailers packed.
Coffee in hand.
Prayers said.
“Look at the Ladies of Leisure,” he’d grin.
We laughed — because there’s nothing leisurely about hauling horses and camping in the dirt.
But what he really saw was something beautiful:
friendship, freedom, and women boldly enjoying the life God gave them.
So we turned his sweet nickname into this plate — a little badge of honor for every horsewoman who drives her own rig, saddles her own horse, and follows the trail wherever the Lord leads.
